My life began as Miss Morghan B.
Born in 1687, I was the only child of a Wycken mother. My mother was known to be a “lady of the street and” serviced
many people in various ways. She cleaned for them, took care of their animals, entertained men, and unknown to them
would rob them always. I had no idea that her skills of (Piracy) would linger over to me. I only knew that I needed to survive
the streets, as well as my own mother. As a young girl I needed to fend for myself and so I became a beggar and would do
small chores for food and shelter. I would take only what I needed to survive.
When I turned 9 ½, I was walking along the docks and noticed this loud group of Pirates. They were coming ashore, I am
sure to pillage & plunder all they could. I felt scared and one of these Pirates came up to me and gave me a gold nuggett. I
felt like I was rich. She said she was “Black Widow” of “The Black Diamond Pirates”. I told her of my situation
and she said to hide away on board their ship “The Black Diamond”.
I hid there all night hoping that if they caught me I would not be killed. When they finally came back to the ship I saw that
they had so many treasures. I had never seen so much “Booty”. I knew I wanted to live like they live. As I didn’t try to take
anything from their ship…Their Captain” Bloody Irish John” said I could stay and even made me his “Key Holder” and I
was to be forever known as “Gold Nuggett” . Maybe one day I can be a Captain???
